Based on the information presented in the video, I think Assad is to blame for the Syrian war, Syrian citizens were taking part in PEACEFUL protest because they want and deserve rights. I believe this because those protesters were not causing harm to anything or anyone, if they were putting innocent lives in danger, it would be a different story, but Assad gave the order to kill them. Protesters didn’t start shooting back until long after, but the violence continued and because of this, the civil war started, and rightfully so; Bashar Assad is a dictator and needs to be be taken down, but it quickly went out of control I think around the time other countries started to join in.
I do not think that Vox is a propaganda machine, the channel produces videos that are entirely legitimate and have fully factual standpoints on all of their topics.
